Moxy Hotel, Sydney

Funstudio Creative Director Elliott Routledge was engaged by Corval and Mariott Hotels to create a series of permanent artworks for the newly built Moxy Hotel which sits opposite the Sydney Domestic Airport entry.

As part of this project, we were asked to design an install various interior and exterior large scale murals, manage the fabrication and installation of an 8m tall metal sculpture and concrete seating. This process saw Funstudio at the very beginning of the planning and DA stage, all the way to completion and opening.

Funstudio was also engaged by the client to curate an artist for guest room in the hotel. Sydney based artist Evi-O was commissioned to create a series of textural and semi sculptural works that would be re produced for every single room in the hotel.
